Hyundai Steel takes home two prizes from Web Award Korea

Hyundai Steel announced Monday that its integrated report website “Beyond Steel” was awarded an integrated grand prize for PC web customer service and a public service section grand prize for mobile web service at the Web Award Korea 2021.

Web Award Korea is an award ceremony that recognizes Korean web innovation hosted by the Korea Internet Professional Association and sponsored by the Korea Internet & Security Agency affiliated with the Ministry of Science and ICT. Some 4,000 Internet experts in Korea select the most innovative services, regarding visual design, user interface (UI) design, technology, content and marketing.

Hyundai Steel explained that the awards are meaningful because it won in both PC and mobile categories.

According to Hyundai Steel, the digital integrated report “Beyond Steel” was recognized for its high readability and user-centered organization and operation of the website.

The jury included “Beyond Steel” on the shortlist for the grand prize, complementing its innovative UI design and reader-oriented content organization.

“Beyond Steel” was designed in a web-based format for the first time, and the size of the web page automatically adjusts according to the device. Therefore, users can easily check Hyundai Steel’s various activities through any device.

Moreover, users are able to download all materials on the integrated report covering environment social and governance issues through the website. For better readability, every type of quantified data can be browsed by field and year, the steelmaker added.

“It is our pleasure to get recognition for the competence of our integrated report,” an official at Hyundai Steel said, adding that the company will continue to strengthen its integrated report service.
