Three lugers, Park Jin-young, Cho Jung-myung and Lim Nam-kyu, will represent Korea in the men’s luge events at the Beijing Games.

Park and Cho, who will be competing in the doubles’ luge event, are heading to Beijing in good form, after finishing fifth at the Eberspaecher 5th World Cup at the Olympia Eiskanal in Innsbruck, Austria this January. The duo has been improving since November last year, when they finished 13th out of 22 teams at an FIL Luge World Cup event in Rzhanaya Polyana, Russia.

Germany-born Korean luger Aileen Christina Frisch will represent Korea in the women’s single event. Frish also represented Korea at the PyeongChang Games in 2018, where she finished eighth out of 30 athletes.
