(G)I-dle's Soyeon to feature on soundtrack of upcoming MBC rom-com

(G)I-dle's Soyeon will feature on the original soundtrack of the upcoming MBC rom-com "From Now on, Showtime!" according to the music production company Music Ground on Tuesday.

The track by Soyeon is titled "Freak Show." It will be released Wednesday at 6 p.m. on various music streaming websites.

"From Now on, Showtime!" revolves around a famous, charismatic magician named Cha Cha-oong (played by actor Park Hae-jin) and a righteous, passionate cop named Go Seul-hae (played by Jin Gi-joo). Cha also has the ability to see and communicate with ghosts.

The plot kicks off when Cha helps Go solve criminal cases through his ability to talk to ghosts. The two solve cases together which leads to romance.

"From Now on, Showtime!" premieres Saturday at 8:40 p.m. It is also available on streaming platforms Wavve and Coupang Play. New episodes are released every Saturday and Sunday.
