BTS's Suga revealed as producer of song on Psy's new album
Psy surprised K-pop fans by announcing on Tuesday that the title track of his upcoming ninth album is produced by BTS member Suga.
Over the past few days, Psy has been releasing details about his ninth full-length album “PSY 9th,” which drops Friday at 6 p.m. On Tuesday, he posted a music video teaser of his title track “That That,” which shows Psy dressed up as a cowboy in a western desert town. In the details, it states that the song has been produced by Suga.
Psy also posted an interview teaser with Suga. In the video, they discuss how they now have become friends through music despite their 16-year age gap. The video also hints that Suga may be featuring in the song as well.
Psy is making a return to the K-pop scene as a singer after a five-year hiatus since his last album “PSY 8th 4X2=8. The album comprises of 12 tracks. An array of top celebrities are also participating on Psy’s upcoming album, including singer and actor Suzy, who will appear in the music video of a song titled “Celeb.” The song was co-composed and co-written by Psy and rapper Zico three years ago. Other famous artists who have participated on the album include Sung Si-kyung, Heize, Crush, Tablo and Hwasa of the girl group Mamamoo.
