Onew to drop first full-length album 'Life Goes On' in Japan in July

Onew is set to release his first full-length album "Life Goes On" in Japan in July, according to SM Entertainment on Tuesday. 

 
The album will include 10 tracks, including four covers of famous Japanese songs: Kirakira (2002) by Kazumasa Oda; Uroko (2007) by Motohiro Hata; "Dreams Come True" (2014) by Yasashii Kiss Wo Shite; and "Everything" (2001) by Misia.  
 
Onew's cover of Kazumasa's Kirakira will be pre-released on May 18 through various music streaming platforms. 
 
The full album will be released on July 6.  
 
Starting July 8, Onew is also set hold live concerts in Japan until late August. "Onew Japan 1st Concert Tour 2022 ~Life goes on~" is comprised of six concerts in four cities — Tokyo, Fukuoka, Nagoya and Osaka.
 
The concert tour is Onew's first time performing live in Japan as a soloist.   
 
Onew debuted in 2008 as a member of SHINee, a boy band best known for  “Ring Ding Dong” (2009), “Lucifer” (2010) and “Sherlock (Clue + Note)” (2012). He started his solo career in 2018 with an EP titled “Voice." His latest music is an EP titled "Dice." It was released last month.
