Global auditions for new member of NCT begin

SM Entertainment has started auditions to choose the next member of boy band NCT.

Titled “2022 Welcome to the Neo CiTy,” auditions are being held in 14 cities in Canada, the United States, Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, China and Japan.

The first round will be held online via video submissions after applicants register online for one of the singing, rap or dance categories.

The winners of the first round will proceed to the second round, which will be held offline according to the city of application.

The submission and audition dates for each city vary and are available on SM Entertainment’s website.

Males born between 2001 and 2008, regardless of nationality, are eligible to enter.

The winner will get the opportunity to train under or sign a contract with SM Entertainment, as well as debut as the newest member of NCT.
