Ongoing legal drama "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" will be made into a webtoon, according to the series production company AStory on Tuesday.

The webtoon will take on the same plot as the drama series and will be available in Korean, English, Japanese and Chinese. The exact date of release has not yet been made public, but the company said that people will be able to enjoy the webtoon simultaneously with the drama.

"The publication of webtoon is a meaningful cultural attempt to satisfy those who like to consume short and concise web content and those who enjoy longer and deeper narratives in the form of dramas," said staff from AStory.

Only two episodes into the 16-part series, "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" is already No. 1 on Netflix Korea. It also recorded the highest national viewership ratings of its broadcaster, ENA Channel, reaching 1.8 percent after airing its second episode on Thursday, according to Nielson Korea.

Starring actor Park Eun-bin in the title role, "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" is about a female lawyer with a spectrum autism disorder. Though she isn't welcome in her law firm at first, she proves her worth as a lawyer as she is able to view and solve cases with an exceptional eye.

Other actors in the series include Kang Tae-oh, Jeon Bae-soo, Kang Ki-young and Baek Ji-won.

"Extraordinary Attorney Woo" premiered on ENA on June 29 and airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 9 p.m. It is also available for streaming on seezn and Netflix in selected regions.
