CJ ENM and KT will merge Tving and Seezn to form the biggest domestic streaming service, each company announced Thursday.
 
CJ ENM and KT each held board meetings Thursday to discuss the merger of the two services, and the decision was reached the same day. With the merge, the resulting company will have the highest number of users for a Korean service.
 
Tving is a 57-percent-owned subsidiary of CJ ENM. KT's KT Studio Genie, operator of Seezn, was founded in January 2021.
