In an interview with the magazine, Kazuha said that she is getting used to her life as a K-pop star since the group's debut in May.

"I have been doing ballet for the last 15 years of my life, so K-pop is still new to me," she said. "Like the lyrics 'I have no fear' in our debut song 'Fearless,' I want to go forward on this path without being scared."

The two also spoke of their quickly rising popularity.

"I didn't really feel famous until I performed in Japan and met Japanese fans," said Kazuha. "I felt their enormous support even from a different country. I want to meet more fans around the world."

"Even though we have concluded promotional activities for our first single 'Fearless,' I can still feel the love that many people give to the song," said Hong. "It is still so cool when I hear our song playing in the streets."

Dubbed “HYBE’s first girl group,” Le Sserafim is produced by Source Music, a label under the K-pop powerhouse known for boy band BTS.

The group consists of Sakura, Kim Ga-ram, Kim Chae-won, Hong Eun-chae, Kazuha and Huh Yun-jin. Sakura and Kazuha are Japanese. Sakura and Kim Chae-won are already well-known as former members of girl group IZ*ONE, a project girl group formed by the 12 finalists of Mnet’s hit idol audition program “Produce 48” (2018). Huh was also a contestant on "Produce 48."
