All passengers safely rescued after ride at Legoland Korea stopped midway

Nineteen people were rescued from an amusement park ride at Legoland Korea on Jungdo Island in Chuncheon, Gangwon, after the ride stopped abruptly 25 meters (82 feet) above ground Thursday afternoon.
The drop tower attraction halted mid-ride at 1:13 p.m., and the last of the passengers were rescued around 3:08 p.m. No one was injured, according to the fire department.
Legoland Korea is investigating the exact cause of the accident.
Legoland Korea officially opened on May 5. Since then, there have been four incidents of rides stopping mid-operation.
