Covid-19 cases in Korea jump to nearly 100,000

New confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Korea recorded 99,327 Tuesday, nearing the 100,000 mark for the first time in three months.
 
Tuesday’s number of confirmed cases is a steep jump from the day before, with 35,883 new cases. The weekly average of new Covid-19 cases reached 69,330.
 
The accumulative total of confirmed cases in Korea reached 19,346,764 as of Tuesday, 17 more people died of the virus and 168 patients are in serious condition.
