Korea's Covid-19 cases back in 100,000s Tuesday

New confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Korea reached 149,897 Tuesday, a steep climb from the day before and 30,000 more than last Tuesday.
 
The number of critically ill patients remained high at 364, while 40 deaths were reported. The average of confirmed cases in the past week recorded 108,849.
 
The accumulative total of confirmed cases in Korea stood at 20,694,239.
