First love

Girl group CSR, which debuted Wednesday, poses during a showcase event at the Blue Square Mastercard Hall in central Seoul on the same day. The group’s name is an acronym for chutsarang, which translates to “first love.” Its first EP “Sequence: 7272” has five songs: “72.72Hz,” lead track “Pop? Pop!,” “Manito,” “Toi Et Moi” and “Euratcha!” The septet — Sua, Geumhee, Sihyeon, Seoyeon, Yuna, Duna, Yeham — are all the same age: 17. “Sequence: 7272” drops Thursday.

“People remember their first loves even after time has passed,” Sua, leader of CSR, said. “We want to be a team that is remembered by many for a long time. And like how everyone has a different first love, we want to show various sides to CSR.”

“We hope that when you hear ‘first love,’ you will immediately think of us,” Sihyeon said. [POP MUSIC]
