"Extraordinary Attorney Woo" star Kang Ki-young tested positive for Covid-19, according to his agency Namoo Actors on Monday.

"Kang underwent a self-test and rapid antigen test after he became aware that he had been in contact with someone who had Covid," the agency said. "He tested positive on Saturday."

The agency added, "He is not showing any symptoms in particular, but has halted all of his schedules to fully focus on recovery."

Kang is starring in the currently-airing hit ENA series "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" as lawyer Jeong Myeong-seok, a supportive figure to the titular protagonist Woo Young-woo, portrayed by actor Park Eun-bin.

He debuted in 2009 as a theater actor and is best known for his roles in tvN’s “Oh My Ghost” (2015), MBC’s “Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo” (2016), KBS’s “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?” (2018) and film “Exit” (2019).
