Blackpink announces 'Born Pink World Tour' dates and cities
Girl group Blackpink is planning to meet some 1.5 million fans around four continents starting Oct. 15, according to YG Entertainment on Tuesday.
A total of 36 performances for the girl group's concert "Born Pink" have been announced so far.
"Born Pink" will kick off in Seoul and continue to 25 more cities including Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, London, Barcelona, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, Bangkok, Abu Dhabi, Jakarta, Manila, Melbourne and Sydney.
The group will be performing through June 2023. More cities and dates will be announced later.
"We are happy to announce the dates of the world tour along with news about our single and full-length album," said Blackpink in a statement on Tuesday. "We are always so grateful for our fans and can't wait to meet all of them."
On Aug. 19 at 1 p.m., Blackpink will drop “Pink Venom” and the song’s music video via YouTube and music streaming platforms. The single is part of Blackpink’s full-length album set to be released in September.
Blackpink’s last music was its full-length album “The Album,” which was released in October 2020.
Blackpink debuted in 2016 with its first single “Square One” and has released hit tracks including “Playing with Fire” (2016), “Forever Young” (2018) and “Lovesick Girls” (2020). The group consists of four members: Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé and Lisa.
