Guild Wars 2 will be available on the global game platform Steam starting Aug. 23, said NCSoft on Wednesday.

The game has been played by over 16 million users around the world since its introduction to the global market in 2012, reaching accumulative sales of over 1 trillion won ($762 million).

Guild Wars 2's third expansion End of Dragon, which was introduced in February, resulted in sales growth in the second quarter. Sales of the game rose 70 percent in the second quarter compared to the previous year and 34 percent compared to the first quarter.

NCSoft will also release the Complete Collection of the game which includes three expansions and five seasons of Guild Wars 2’s Living World for $99.97 for Steam users.

The original, without an expansion, can be played for free.
