Actor Kong Hyo-jin and singer-songwriter Kevin Oh are getting married in October.

Kong’s agency Management Soop said Wednesday that the actor will marry her boyfriend of 10 years younger in New York City in October. It will be a small wedding, only attended by her close family and relatives.

Kong confirmed the dating rumors of her and Oh in April. When the 42-year-old actor confirmed that she is indeed in a romantic relationship, fans speculated that she may soon walk down the aisle as she caught the bouquet at the wedding of celebrity couple Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin in March.

In Korea, all single women present at a wedding don’t line up to catch the bouquet; instead, usually one close friend of the bride, oftentimes who is already engaged, comes out to catch the bouquet.

A month after catching Son’s bouquet, Kong acknowledged that she had been dating Oh for about two years.

Oh, who is a Korean-American, is the season seven winner of “Superstar K” (2015). He debuted with his first EP “Stardust” in January 2017. He gained more attention when he appeared on JTBC’s “Superband” in 2019, though he came fifth in the competition.

Kong debuted as an actor in 1999 through the film “Memento Mori 2” and has played lead roles in numerous hit series such as “When the Camellia Blooms” (2019), “It’s Okay, That’s Love” (2014), “The Master’s Sun” (2013) and “Pasta” (2010), as well as films like “Love Fiction” (2012), “Missing” (2016) and “Crazy Romance” (2019).
