Solbi and the apple
Singer Solbi, also known as artist Kwon Ji-an, will host a solo exhibition titled “Beyond the Apple : Systemized Language” from Saturday through Sept. 18 at Gallery Chiro in Gangnam District, southern Seoul. Using the apple as her main objet d'art, the artist will showcase a variety of her works in different mediums such as painting and media art. The artwork above is a collaborative work by Solbi and New York-based photographer Jason River, who was inspired by Kwon's art to create "Bubble wrap no.29(Her Apple)." [MAP CREW]
