2022 MAMA Awards to be held from Nov. 29 to 30 in Japan

2022 MAMA Awards will be held at Kyocera Dome Osaka from Nov. 29 to 30 . [CJ ENM]

The 2022 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) has been rebranded to the MAMA Awards and will be hosted from Nov. 29 to 30 in Japan.

According to the event's organizer CJ ENM, this year's ceremony will be hosted at Kyocera Dome Osaka, which can accommodate up to 40,000 people.

The ceremony will be livestreamed through Mnet’s official YouTube channel.

“As a ceremony which represents K-pop, we are planning to showcase performances and shows which can only be seen at the ‘2022 MAMA Awards’ and prove that it’s the world’s No. 1 K-pop awards ceremony by providing distinctive values and experiences,” said Kim Hyun-soo, the head of CJ ENM’s music content division said.

The lineup of attending artists has yet to be revealed.
