Girl group DIA's Jung Chae-yeon breaks collarbone while filming MBC series

Singer and actor Jung Chae-yeon of girl group DIA was injured while filming for the upcoming MBC series “The Golden Spoon,” her agency Pocketdol Studio said on Monday.
According to the agency, Jung fell down a flight of stairs on Saturday and broke her collarbone. She was promptly transported to a nearby hospital.
Jung will undergo surgery for the injury on Tuesday. She will need to have additional surgeries if she is found to have also damaged her ligaments.
Jung debuted in 2015 as a member of girl group DIA and was also a member of project girl group I.O.I, which formed in 2016 through Mnet’s hit audition show “Produce 101.” She has also been active as an actor since 2015.
