Apple announced Friday that the new iPhone 14 series and Apple Watch 8 will be released in Korea on Oct. 7, with advance reservations starting on Sept. 30.

All models in the iPhone 14 series — iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max — will be available for advance reservation, as well as the Apple Watch 8, SE and Ultra products. Advance reservations can be made online, at the Apple Store, or through authorized resellers and authorized carriers.

The iPhone 14 series includes the 6.1-inch (15.4 centimeters) basic model, the 6.7-inch Plus, and high-end versions of these models, the 6.1-inch Pro and 6.7-inch Pro Max.

The price of the iPhone 14 series starts at 1.25 million won ($886), with the iPhone 14 Plus costing 1.35 million won, the iPhone 14 Pro 1.55 million won and Pro Max 1.75 million won.

The iPhone 14 series features a space called Dynamic Island, a replacement of the notch on previous models. The Dynamic Island changes size and shape to accommodate various types of alerts, notifications and interactions.

The Pro line has improved camera specifications to 48 million pixels and has the A16 Bionic chip installed as an application processor.

A15 Bionic ships and 5-core GPUs were used in regular iPhone 14 and Plus models.

The regular iPhone 14 and Pro models launched in countries including the United States last Friday, and the Plus model will be on sale from Oct. 7.
