Lee Chan-hyuk of K-pop duo AKMU and Lee Sae-rom of girl group fromis_9 are rumored to be dating.

Fans speculate that they have been dating for over a year based on their social media uploads. The presumed couple have been uploading pictures taken at the same spots on their respective Instagram accounts.

Rumors escalated after Lee Chan-hyuk recently appeared as a guest on MBC’s popular reality show “I Live Alone” aired on Oct. 14 and said he’s “having trouble staying alone” in his home.

“I meet a variety of people [throughout my life] but I think the most important relationship would be with one person, the person I’ll be spending my life with — my wife. My goal is to make a happy household of my own. If I had someone to marry, I can do it tomorrow. Marriage is my only dream [nowadays],” he said on the show.

YG Entertainment which represents Lee Chan-hyuk said that “it is difficult to confirm” because it respects its artists’ privacy. Pledis Entertainment, which represents fromis_9, did not comment on the matter.

Brother-sister AKMU rose to popularity by appearing on the second season of the K-pop audition program “K-pop Star” on SBS in 2012. The duo won and were scouted by YG Entertainment. The duo has hit songs such as “200%” (2014), “How can I love the heartbreak, you’re the one I love” (2019), “Dinosaur” (2020) and “Nakka” (2021).

Lee Chan-hyuk released his first solo album "Error" on Monday.

Lee Sae-rom debuted in fromis_9 which was formed through cable channel Mnet's audition program "Idol School" (2017). The girl group has hit songs such as “Glass Shoes” (2018), “DKDK” (2018) and “DM” (2022)
