Boy band Stray Kids will hold encore concerts as part of its second world tour “Stray Kids 2nd World Tour 'Maniac,'" said JYP Entertainment on Tuesday.

Stray Kids is set to perform encores in Japan in February, at the Saitama Super Arena in Tokyo and Kyosera Dome in Osaka. After that, from March 31, it will hold five more encore concerts at the Bank of California Stadium in Los Angeles.

This will make Stray Kids the first K-pop boy band to perform at a stadium in North America that can house over 20,000 people, following BTS.

Stray Kids kicked off “Stray Kids 2nd World Tour 'Maniac’” in April at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium in southern Seoul. The world tour saw the boy band perform 39 concerts in a total of 17 cities in the United States, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Australia and more.

The eight-member boy band debuted in 2018 and consists of members Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin and I.N. The band is known for hits such as “Miroh” (2019), “God's Menu” (2020), “Thunderous” (2021) and “Maniac” (2022). The upcoming encore concerts will also see the boy band perform its latest hit “Case 143” released in October.

The boy band’s latest EP “Maxident,” of which “Case 143” was the lead track, topped the Billboard 200 albums chart last month, becoming Stray Kids’ second work to top the chart in just six months.
