Covid-19 cases in Korea jump to 86,852 Tuesday

Korea reported 86,852 new Covid-19 cases Tuesday, up more than 9,000 from the same day a week before, according to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency.
The number of critically ill patients stood at 40, and 29 deaths were reported.
The cumulative number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Korea is 27,841,001.
