Five-member boy band BXB will debut on Jan. 30, according to its agency Wolfburn on Tuesday.

BXB stands for “Boy By Brush,” meaning that the members will paint an image of youth, the agency said. It will consist of members Jihun, Hyunwoo, Siwoo, Hamin and June.

Four of the five members — Jihun, Hyunwoo, Siwoo, and Hamin — were previously members of boy band TRCNG, an eight-member boy band which debuted in 2017 and disbanded in early 2022.

The four were also part of BXB’s pre-debut project, dubbed APR Project, launched in June.

“BXB aims to portray various feelings associated with youth — joy, sadness, love, anger and jealousy — through its music and leave an impression on the public,” Wolfburn said in a press release.

A logo for the upcoming boy band was also revealed the same day on Wolfburn’s official social media.

BXB will drop various teasers leading up to its debut.
