Celebrating history

The National Museum of Korean Contemporary History in Jongno District, central Seoul, is displaying media art on the digital screen of its exterior to celebrate the first anniversary of the screen's installation. The videos, with 3-D effects, show historical scenes like the country's liberation in 1945 as well as important figures like independence activists Ahn Jung-geun (1879-1910) and Yu Gwan-sun (1902-1920). The videos are played on the 16th and 34th minute every hour from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. [THE NATIONAL MUSEUM OF KOREAN CONTEMPORARY HISTORY]
