Busan BNK Sum beat the Yongin Samsung Life Blueminx 72-71 in a tight WKBL game on Monday at Sajik Indoor Gymnasium in Busan.
As the score suggests, the game was neck-and-neck until the very last minute.
The game started a bit one-sided, however, with the Blueminx taking the first quarter 25-20.
BNK rallied quickly, taking second quarter with a decisive 18-7 to take the score to 38-32 in favor of the Busan side.
The Blueminx ate into that lead a bit in the third quarter, gaining two points back to enter the final stretch with the score at 56-52.
With so little to separate the two, it almost came down to a buzzer beater at the end of the fourth quarter. The score was 71-71 with seconds left on the clock, when Lee Myung-kuwan of the Blueminx fouled Jin An in what would prove an extremely costly mistake, giving BNK a free throw.
Jin scored one crucial point from the free throw with 17 seconds left on the clock, leading her team to victory with a final score of 72-71.
With the win, BNK is now tied with Blueminx in second place on the WKBL table.
