Boy band Tomorrow X Together's latest EP "The Name Chapter: Temptation" surpassed 2 million in sales on Thursday.

The feat makes Tomorrow X Together the youngest group in K-pop to have an album with more than 2 million units sold.

The EP sold 2,027,817 copies as of Thursday morning, just six days after its release, according to local music sales tracker Hanteo Chart.

"The Name Chapter: Temptation" sold 1.8 million copies on the day of its release alone, making the band the first K-pop act to match the single-day record since BTS.

The EP and its tracks are also performing strong on charts in and outside of Korea.

The EP earned a place on Japan's Oricon's weekly albums chart this week, making the band the first foreign artist to have seven consecutive albums on the chart. The lead track "Sugar Rush Ride" landed on global streaming service Spotify's Daily Top Song Global and Daily Top Song USA charts, while its music video was one of the top trending music videos in numerous regions around the world.

"The Name Chapter" is a new album series which will start by telling the story of various temptations the members face during their journey of self-growth.
