The 2023 Genesis Invitational is set to tee off Thursday at Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles.

It's the seventh year Genesis has sponsored the PGA Tour. Genesis is a premium auto brand under Hyundai Motor.

One-hundred-thirty-two top players on the PGA Tour will compete in the tournament, including Tiger Woods. It's his first official event since the British Open last July.

Woods will be joined by 19 of the top 20 golfers in the Official World Golf Ranking, including Rory McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler, Jon Rahm, Patrick Cantlay and Collin Morikawa.

Kim Yeong-su, winner of the 2022 Genesis Championship, Im Sung-jae and Kim Joo-hyung are among the Korean players to join the Genesis Invitational.

The tournament will run until Feb. 19.

The 2023 Genesis Invitational has a purse of $20 million, with the winner taking a share of $3.6 million and an electric GV70 car.

“We are pleased to support tournament host Tiger Woods and TGR Foundation as title sponsor for the distinguished Genesis Invitational for yet another year,” said Claudia Marquez, chief operating officer of Genesis Motor North America.

“The Genesis Invitational celebrates golf with an immersive experience bringing the Genesis brand values of elevated hospitality to all fans and athletes involved with the game of golf.”

A total of 260 Genesis vehicles including the GV60 and electric versions of the GV70 and G80 will be mobilized for the event. Nineteen will be displayed throughout the course, with the rest serving as operation cars.
