The Korea Craft and Design Foundation (KCDF) is hosting a contest throughout March to promote the hanbok (Korean traditional dress) industry online, the foundation announced Thursday.

Until March 30, the KCDF will be taking applications to choose some 50 winning hanbok brands to receive support with their online sales. The contest is targeted toward brands who have at least 10 products that can be sold online, and the brands will be given opportunities to sell on local handmade product platform Idus and do crowdfunding on tumblbug.

The 50 chosen brands will be offered a photo shoot session for their products and training on sales strategies.

For more information, visit the website for the contest (www.kcdf.kr/businessapplication).
