Tram tracks rediscovered
Tram tracks from the Japanese colonial era near Gwanghwamun Gate in central Seoul will be opened to the public from March 16 to 18, according to Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Cultural Heritage Administration on Monday. The tracks, used from 1927 to 1966, were discovered during restoration work on the woldae (wide traditional platform) of Gwanghwamun, which was damaged when the Japanese laid the tracks. [YONHAP]
