Le Sserafim will release its first full-length album “Unforgiven” on May 1, the girl group’s agency Source Music announced on Monday.

The teaser video released on Monday started with the sentence, "Do you want to be forgiven," which is the same sentence that was shown at the end of the music video of “Antifragile,” the girl group’s last album released Oct. 2022, suggesting that the upcoming album will be a continuation of the girl group’s previous release. It was followed with the sentences, “You don’t have to.” “I’m unforgiven too.” “Alone we meander, but together we adventure,” in line with “I’m Fearless” theme of the girl group; which is also the anagram of “Le Sserafim.”

Le Sserafim’s second EP, “Antifragile” received positive reception worldwide, with the album charting on the Billboard 200 albums chart on the week of Nov. 5. It marked the fastest time for a K-pop girl group to have its album land on the chart. The album also sold 1.03 million copies as of February, making it the girl group’s first million-seller album.

Le Sserafim debuted in 2022 as a six-member girl group with Sakura, Kim Chae-won, Huh Yun-jin, Kazuha, Kim Ga-ram and Hong Eun-chae. Sakura and Kim Chae-won are former members of girl group IZ*ONE, a project girl group formed by the 12 finalists of Mnet’s hit idol audition program “Produce 48” (2018). Huh was also a contestant on "Produce 48." Agency Source Music terminated its contract and removed Kim Ga-ram from the group just 19 days after its debut on May 20 following allegations of bullying.
