The Democratic Party (DP), now stuck in a new cash-for-votes scandal, is retaliating against the People Power Party (PPP) by pushing for a full vote on several contentious bills — such as the Nursing Act, a bill on appointing a special prosecutor to find dirt on the first lady, and a revision to the Broadcasting Act — to help win votes in the next parliamentary elections on April 10.
