Rep. Tae Yong-ho, a North Korean defector-turnd lawmaker of the People Power Party, faces a crisis after MBC’s broadcast of a conversation between him and his aides regarding a senior presidential secretary who allegedly asked Tae to advocate President Yoon Suk Yeol’s effort to improve Korea-Japan relations in return for nominating him for the next parliamentary election.
