FSC chief to headline 2023 Korea Economic Forum

The Korea JoongAng Daily will host the 2023 Korea Economic Forum on Wednesday, May 10.

The forum will offer ambassadors, financial leaders, CEOs of companies and foreign correspondents a deeper understanding of the Korean economy and policies affecting it.

Kim Joo-hyun, chairman of the Financial Services Commission, will deliver a keynote speech on financial policy direction.

Vice Minister Kang Hwan-seug from the Defense Acquisition Program Administration will give a briefing on Korea's growing arms exports.

The annual forum, the 17th of its kind, will be held in English with simultaneous interpretation. The Korea JoongAng Daily and the JoongAng Ilbo will cover the event.

· Time: 7:30 a.m. - 9 a.m. on Wednesday, May 10

· Venue: Lilac Room on the second floor of the Westin Josun in Jung District, central Seoul
