Evaluation of the safety not allowed
Nishimura Yasutoshi, Japan’s Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, drew the line at Korean experts’ upcoming visit to the crippled Fukushima nuclear plant to check the safety of the contaminated water to be released into the Pacific later this month. The minister said Tokyo invited them to help the Korean people understand the safety of the water, not to allow the experts to evaluate or inspect its safety. [PARK YONG-SEOK]
