Kim Tae-ri to star in new mystery horror series 'Revenant'

A new drama, "Revenant, "starring Kim Tae-ri and written by star screenwriter Kim Eun-hee will air on SBS from June 23, SBS announced Friday.
 
"Revenant "is set to be an occult mystery horror, telling the story of Gu San-yeong, played by Kim, a woman who is possessed by a devil. Oh Jung-se plays Yeom Hae-sang, a professor of native studies who can see devils and spirits.
 
Kim Eun-hee is known for writing the screenplays for dramas such as "Sign" (2011), "Phantom" (2012), "Signal" (2016), and the "Kingdom" (2019-) series.
 
Netflix's series "Kingdom" especially has garnered both critical and commercial success.
 
Kim Tae-ri began her acting career in plays and was active on stage and in several short films until she was cast as Sook-hee in director Park Chan-wook's "The Handmaiden" (2016). Since then, the actor has appeared in an array of successful or highly-praised works such as films "1987: When the Day Comes" (2017), "Little Forest" (2018), "Space Sweepers" (2021) and a tvN drama series "Mr. Sunshine" (2018).
