Icelandic singer-songwriter Asgeir will hold a solo concert in Seoul on July 28 [PRIVATE CURVE]

Icelandic singer-songwriter Asgeir will return to Korea after six years for a concert in Seoul in July, concert organizer Private Curve announced Wednesday.

Asgeir will be holding “Asgeir Live in Seoul,” as a part of his 2023 Asia Tour, at Musinsa Garage in Mapo District, western Seoul on July 28.

The singer-songwriter rose to fame in 2012, the year he made his debut, earning platinum sales status with his debut album “Dýrð Í Dauðaþögn,” followed by Album of the Year and Rookie of the Year award at the Icelandic Music Awards the same year.

This will be the singer-songwriter’s third time performing in Korea, after participating in Hyundai Card’s “5 Nights” music festival in 2014 and in the Jisan Valley Rock Festival in 2017.

Tickets will be priced at 88,000 won ($68) and will be sold on Interpark Ticket and Melon Ticket starting June 20.
