Lee Kyu-han, BB Girls' Youjoung are not dating, agencies say

Youjoung from BB Girls and actor Lee Kyu-han are not dating, their agencies said Thursday.

"Upon [the agency] checking, the two are in a relationship where they meet alongside their close acquaintances, and the reported dating rumor is not true," Youjoung's agency Warner Music Korea said in a press release Thursday.

Lee's agency Blade Entertainment too, denied the rumor on Thursday, saying while the two people maintain a close friendship after being on a TV program together, they are not in a relationship.

Media reported on Thursday that Yoojoung and Lee were in a romantic relationship after appearing on KBS's variety show "Rustically" together earlier this year.

Lee debuted in 1996 through the KBS teen drama "Start." Known for his roles in dramas "My Lovely Sam Soon" (2005), "Que Sera, Sera" (2007) and "I Have a Lover" (2015–16), also featured in many variety shows, including "Real Men" (2015) and "The Law of Jungle" (2013).

Youjoung debuted in 2016 as a member of Brave Girls. The girl group shot to fame after its 2017 song "Rollin'" went viral in music streaming services in 2021. After Brave Girls' exclusive contract ended with Brave Entertainment, all four members of the group signed a new exclusive contract with Warner Music Korea in April and changed its group name to BB Girls. BB Girls will drop its first album in August.
