An exhibition on artists Banksy and Keith Haring will kick off on Sept. 5 at the Paradise City resort complex in Incheon.

Co-organized with art auction house Sotheby’s, “Love in Paradise: Banksy and Keith Haring” takes place at the resort’s Paradise Art Space exhibition hall. The show consists of 32 artworks, most of which are being presented to the Korean audience for the first time.

“Girl without Balloon” (2021), the half-shredded version of Banksy’s famed “Girl with Balloon” (2002) image, is making its global debut. The piece was made when “Girl with Balloon” was sold for 1.042 million pounds ($1.32 million) during a Sotheby’s auction in 2018, after which Banksy flipped the switch for a paper shredder hidden inside the frame.

The piece is also known as “Love is in the Bin.”

Banksy's other works, including “Love is in the Air” (2006), “Choose Your Weapon” (2009), “Love Rat on Palette” (2003) and “Monkey Detonator” (2000) are also making their debut in Korea.

Some, like “Choose Your Weapon," feature imagery from Haring's works.

“Love in Paradise: Banksy and Keith Haring” continues until Nov. 4. Paradise Art Space is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day. The exhibition is free but reservations on Naver are required.
