The upcoming EP will be the second and the last entry in the rapper’s “Love or Loved” series of global EP releases. B.I released “Part.1” in November 2022. It was initially announced that the EP would be released in October.
“B.I talked about ‘love’ with ‘Love or Loved Part.1,’ and he plans to relay the story of [having] ‘loved,’” 131 Label said in a press release on Monday.
The lead track of the EP, “Loved,” was first revealed at the 2023 Lollapalooza Berlin music festival on Sunday. B.I will also perform the track in his upcoming Europe tour, “Love or Die,” which kicks off with a performance in Utrecht, Netherlands, on Sept. 19.
B.I became the first and only Korean artist to perform at the 2023 Lollapalooza Berlin music festival. He performed 22 tracks throughout his discography.
A prerelease single will be released on Sept. 29, followed by an early release of the lead track on Oct. 27.
B.I, whose real name is Kim Han-bin, debuted as a member of YG Entertainment’s boy band iKON in 2015. He left the boy band and the agency in 2019 following allegations of using illegal drugs, which he was later found guilty of.
