Justice delayed is justice denied
The Supreme Court on Monday ruled against Rep. Choi Kang-wook, 44 months after he was indicted in 2017 for issuing a fabricated certificate for the son of then-Justice Minister Cho Kuk to help with his college admissions. After the court, led by outgoing Chief Justice Kim Myeong-su, sentenced the lawmaker to eight months in jail, suspended for two years, Choi has finally lost his seat in the legislature.
