LG Energy Solution's battery plant in Holland, Michigan [LG ENERGY SOLUTION]

A U.S. worker near LG Energy Solution’s battery plant in Holland, Michigan, died after sustaining a head injury.
 
According to Holland news outlets, a 41-year-old worker from Louisiana lost his life on Sept. 15 after being hit in the head by a plate of the pipe system that exploded during a pressurization test.
 
He was an employee of Jesco, a Mississippi-based construction contractor, and was working at a construction site near the LG Energy Solution plant around noon on Sept. 14 when the accident occurred.

The Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration on Monday said it began probing into the case, which is expected to last up to several months.
 
LG Energy Solution is yet to announce details of the case.
