Xdinary Heroes to release new music in October

Xdinary Heroes will release its new album "Livelock" on Oct. 11, the boy band's agency JYP Entertainment said Wednesday.

"Livelock" is the band's fourth EP that comes six months after the seven-track third EP "Deadlock."

Xdinary Heroes debuted as JYP Entertainment's second rock-style boy band in December 2021 with six members: bassist Jooyeon, drummer Gunil, Jungsu and O.de on the keyboards and guitarists Gaon and Jun Han.

Its name, Xdinary Heroes, is short for "extraordinary heroes," symbolizing that anyone can be a hero.

The band won the Best New Male Artist and the Best Band Performance awards at the 2022 Mnet Asia Music Awards in November.
