Korea added three more Hangzhou Asian Games medals in judo Tuesday with Kim Ha-yun claiming the country’s first gold in the sport this year and Kim Min-jong and Yoon Hyun-ji adding one bronze each.

Kim Ha-yun faced Xu Shiyan of China in the women’s +78kg final at Xiaoshan Linpu Gymnasium in Hangzhou, China and showed a dominant performance.

Kim earned her score with “O-soto-gari”, a large outer reap, and did not give Xu a chance to turn things around, claiming a victory in the end.

That gold was Korea’s first gold in judo at this year’s Asiad.
