Changjo of boy band Teen Top will start his mandatory military service on Nov. 20 as the third member of the quartet to do so.

Changjo, a 27-year-old singer whose real name is Choi Jong-hyun, has been accepted into the Army and will later serve as part of the military band, according to his agency Beat Interactive.

The specific time and place of his camp enrollment will not be revealed to ensure safety, the agency said.

The singer will meet with fans for a "birthday party" event two days prior to his enlistment, on Nov. 18.

"As I watched the other members start and finish their military duties, I was always so amazed and felt proud of them," Changjo said in a letter to his fans.

"Having seen them and having prepared myself to one day do the same, I feel excited to serve. My plan is to come back to my fans who wait for me, healthily and more mature than before."

"I want to thank you all for your love and support that has allowed me to grow into who I am, from 2010 until this day," he continued. "Thank you and I love you so much."

Teen Top debuted in July 2010 with six members — C.A.P, Niel, Chunji, Changjo, Ricky and L.Joe — but became a four-member band after L.Joe quit in 2017 and C.A.P earlier this year.

The band is best known for dance tracks "Clap" (2010), "No More Perfume On You" (2011) and "Crazy" (2012), and dropped its most recent EP "4SHO" in July.
