Boy band SHINee's concert film 'My SHINee World' sells to 23 countries

Boy band SHINee’s concert film “My SHINee World” has been sold to 23 countries, distributor MegaBox announced Wednesday.
Among the countries to which “My SHINee World” has been sold are Japan, Singapore, Russia and Vietnam. The film had opened in nine countries as of Wednesday and has caused a storm on social media, according to MegaBox.
“My SHINee World” opened in Hong Kong on Wednesday, with fans holding official SHINee merchandise and slogans flocking to theaters. Singalong screenings of the film will open for Korean audiences on the same day, where theatergoers can sing in unison with the songs played on screen.
“My SHINee World” was produced and released in time with the 15th anniversary of the boy band’s debut. It features footage from the early days of SHINee, concert videos and interviews with the boy band members.
SHINee debuted with five members, Taemin, Jonghyun, Minho, Onew and Key under SM Entertainment in 2008. Hit songs include “Ring Ding Dong” (2009). “Lucifer” (2010) and “View” (2015). Founding member Jonghyun died in December 2017.
