Four Seasons Hotel Seoul

Through Jan. 16: Four Seasons Hotel Seoul invites guests to step into the joy of a Nordic winter celebration: a living embodiment of hygge — the quintessential Danish philosophy comprising a sincere feeling of togetherness and a comforting sense of home. From Nov. 22 to Jan. 16 next year, the hotel welcomes couples, families and groups alike to experience the warmth of hygge through a combination of heartfelt Four Seasons hospitality and exclusive collaborations with three renowned Danish brands: the legendary audio pioneer, Bang & Olufsen (B&O); the storied furniture company, Fritz Hansen; and flower artist Nicolai Bergmann.

Guests entering the Lobby of Four Seasons Hotel Seoul this holiday season will be transported to a Nordic wonderland, brought to life by a breathtaking festive installation by flower artist, Nicolai Bergmann. Amidst snow-coated pine trees, ambient winter scenery, and glittering white and gold decorations, guests can lounge on Fritz Hansen’s signature chairs for photo-worthy moments and memories that are just the start of the experience to come, while having the privilege of getting an up-close look at Bang & Olufsen’s iconic speakers and TV including new holiday additions.

A cozy getaway awaits in the Cosy Festive Getaway room package. Spacious sunlit guest rooms with 180-degree views and distinct sleeping, working and winding-down zones are elevated by premium Scandinavian furniture and ambient lighting from Fritz Hansen capturing the Danish essence of warmth and comfort. Complementing these feelings of cosy contentment and well-being, B&O provides the perfect soundtrack for relaxation. The Cosy Festive Getaway room package also includes a Korean Sauna experience for two, designed to bestow the ultimate sensory hug, plus in-room breakfasts. And, as a tangible reminder of their stay and the joys of hygge, each room will also receive a handcrafted preserved Nordic Nights flower box by Nicolai Bergmann, depicting the joys of a Danish Christmas in floral form.

OUL, the hotel’s contemporary bar, continues the spirit of the season with hygge-inspired cocktails. Sparked by B&O’s innovative spirit and love of harmony, BANG 98 is an inventive fusion of the bubbly French 75 cocktail infused with the intricate depth of Korean spirits, the probiotic goodness of Yakult, and the zesty punch of yuzu for a masterful festive symphony of East-meets-West. The 1872 Dalgona draws on Fritz Hansen’s craftsmanship with a lavish reimagining of the traditional eggnog. Infused with Korean rum, oak-aged soju and rice wine, subtly sweet and yeasty undertones are heightened by the deep caramel essence of dalgona (a thinly spread Korean sugar candy with a stamped outline of a random shape), a beloved Korean treat. The berry danish rounds up the cocktail offerings. The joint brainchild of B&O and Fritz Hansen, this sensory milk punch cocktail combines refreshing notes of strawberries with creamy yogurt, the depth of distilled shochu, and a hint of green tea. The playful crunch of pastel-colored chocolates provides a whimsical finale, evoking the warmth of a cozy Danish afternoon.

“We’re all set for a very special seasonal holiday this year," the hotel manager of Four Seasons Hotel Seoul, Michael Cho, said.

"Inspired by the quintessential embrace of a Danish winter wonderland, our concept weaves the magic of togetherness with the comforting embrace of home, brought to beautiful life by the warmth of our very special team and unique collaborations with Bang & Olufsen, Fritz Hansen and Nicolai Bergmann. We want guests to experience much more than just a luxurious stay — it’s a transformative invitation to pause in life’s rhythm and relax, reflect and revel in the season’s joys with those they hold dear.”

Through Dec. 31:  Executive Pastry Chef Jimmy Boulay, master pâtissier and chocolatier at Four Seasons Hotel Seoul, has unveiled two show-stopping signature Christmas cakes evoking all the magic of the season.

At the Hotel’s bright lobby café, Confections, the classic red Christmas cake, available from Nov. 17 to Dec. 31, epitomizes opulent luxury with its moreish medley of velvety chocolate mousse, moist sponge and a gingerbread-spiced cremeux while the minimalist white Christmas cake, available from Dec. 1 to 31, is a stunning sculptural delight that takes the form of a Christmas tree, celebrating the season with elegance and flair.

Each hand-crafted cake is available to collect in person from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm, with three days advance notice.
