Justice Minister Han Dong-hoon, Korea's one of the most popular politicians according to a recent Gallup poll, and "Squid Game" (2021) star Lee Jung-jae dined together on Sunday at a restaurant in Seocho District, southern Seoul.

Han and Lee met around 6 p.m. and had dinner for two hours. They were then seen leaving the restaurant in Lee's car.

They both went to Hyundai Senior High School, a private high school in Gangnam District, southern Seoul, in the same year.

They were wearing casual outfits. Han wore a hoodie and a jumper, while Lee was in a winter puffer.

The nature of their relationship is not known.

Monthly Chosun, a Korean news magazine, reported that Han was always at the top of the class, according to alums. During his final academic year, Lee enrolled in an academic track dedicated to students studying arts and entertainment. Lee started his acting career after finishing high school.

Han recently visited Dague on Nov. 17, Daejeon on Nov. 21 and Ulsan on Nov. 24. Some see the move as Han gearing up for a parliamentary campaign ahead of the general election in April.
