"Daymoon" is the fifth song to be released from the Clef X Crew project, which aims to support and give hope to children from underprivileged households.
The project is organized by music publishing company Clef Company and collaborates with artists, referred to as "Crew." Artists such as Seungsik of Victon and Kevin Oh participated in the project previously.
"Daymoon" is a pop ballad with piano and guitar sounds, DKZ's agency said.
The song is about the thought of someone, referring to the moon that is always in the sky even though it is not seen, its agency added.
A part of the profit from the song will go to the charity organization Good Neighbors, which provides assistance for children in underprivileged communities and offers scholarships.
"We hope that children will believe in themselves and move forward step by step toward a bright future that awaits," members of DKZ said in a release.
The song will become available on music streaming platforms on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
DKZ debuted in April 2019. It consists of five members: Jaechan, Jonghyeong, Sehyeon, Mingyu and Giseok. The band has released songs such as "Crazy Night" (2021), "Cupid" (2022), "Uh-Heung" (2022), and more.
